I am particularly interested in the sensory impact of visual imagery and my work has been influenced by American colour field painting and colour psychology. There is a strong element of luminosity and lyrical abstraction in my designs as I aim to create images that will dance off the page, appealing to our natural urge for light and movement.
www.offthepagedesign.com specializes in digital images for fine art prints, illustration and surface design. I have been using Adobe products for over twenty years and my digital prints have been exhibited in London and New York and I was a finalist in The Epson International Digital Print Awards in 1999. I was awarded a Distinction in Book Arts and Crafts from the London College of Communication in 2008 and have been a member of the Association of Illustrators since 2009.
My studio is located between London and Cambridge and I have enjoyed working on commercial, editorial, and community projects with Barnardos, Epson, Sessions Publishing, Association of Illustrators, Varoom Magazine, Classic Editions, Society of Friends, Brignell Bookbinders, WHSmith, and Brookfields Hospital, as well as several private commissions and fine art galleries.
